Hand-painted Infantry Sword

Hand-painted sword based on a Fußknechtschwert (here, a Venetian infantry sword from around 1500) from the Kunsthistorisches Museum.
Still trying to find a style I'm comfortable with. Blender only.
The model was made a while ago as I was trying the Blender process out, textured only now.
